Aldi shoppers, it’s time to check your freezers. One type of frozen meatballs sold at Aldi was just recalled because it may contain pieces of metal, according to a recall notice from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service. Here’s everything you need to know about the recalled product, including how to get a refund if you have a bag.

What’s Wrong With the Meatballs?

The recalled Aldi frozen meatballs “may be contaminated with foreign material, specifically metal,” according to the FSIS. In total, the manufacturer is recalling 9,462 pounds of the meatballs.

The problem was found after a consumer complained to the FSIS about finding metal fragments in the meatballs. Thankfully, there haven’t been any reports of injury or illness due to the recalled products so far.
