America loves Costco. That part is settled. The rotisserie chicken has near-mythical status and the $1.50 hot dog is treated like a protected national asset. But beyond the headline items, what Costco products do Americans love the most?

A recent analysis from NetCredit set out to answer that by going straight to the source — customer reviews — and looking for patterns that go beyond hype. The study examined more than 1.4 million reviews across 4,700 Costco product pages and calculated the share of five-star reviews for each item. A high average rating can hide the fact that reviews are mixed, while looking at the share of five-star ratings shows how consistently people are fully satisfied. The products were then grouped into categories and ranked against similar items.

Here are America’s most loved Costco products in each category.

You don’t always think of Costco as the place to shop for furniture, but maybe you should. The warehouse is quietly stocked with pieces that are solid, well-priced, and getting a lot of love from shoppers.

The Monterey Bay 74-inch Accent Console comes out on top with 95.36% five-star reviews, which is pretty impressive for furniture. At 93.07%, the Wynne Accent Console, priced at $399.97, is another solid option shoppers seem happy with. The Kellen 72-inch Ladder Bookcase is also a strong contender, with around 89% five-star reviews. According to the study, customers say this is where small issues like assembly and sturdiness come up more often, which is reflected in the slightly lower score.

In the beauty aisle, skin care comes out on top, with shoppers loving the Obagi Medical Professional-C Serum the most. It has 91.07% of reviews coming in at five stars, edging out everything else in the category. Reviewers point out the value, saying it costs about 45% less at Costco than elsewhere, with some noting that, unlike some competitors, it doesn’t smell like “hot dog water.”

This section also includes hair care, where the Living Proof Full Conditioner lands at 90.63%, making it the top-rated pick in that group.

In the fragrance category, Tom Ford’s Lost Cherry Eau de Parfum also performs well, with 89.47% five-star reviews.

The Home Products Shoppers Rate the Highest

Turns out, one of Costco’s biggest home wins is … fake plants. It’s the highest-performing subcategory overall, with four different items clearing the 90% five-star mark. The 12-inch Hydrangea Arrangement leads the group at 94.39%, with shoppers saying it actually looks real enough.

“This is so realistic. It even feels lush and damp like a real flower. The fake water is genius,” said one reviewer. But the top home product is something you’ll actually use— a throw blanket. The Casual Living Reversible Luxe Plush Throw comes in first at 94.65%, just edging out the Pendleton Reversible Plush Throw at 94.62%.

Kitchen is one of Costco’s strongest categories, and the USA Pan Baking Sheet Set stands out with 96.08% five-star reviews, one of the highest scores across the entire study. “I can’t believe how solid and high quality feeling the baking pans are,” reads one review. “Very even heat throughout. No hot or cold spots. Food doesn’t stick and very easy to clean. I would definitely purchase again but I have a feeling I will have these for many years to come.”

Other cookware pieces also perform well, but not quite at that level. Once you move beyond baking basics, reviews start to get a bit more mixed, usually around things like durability or how evenly items cook.

Outside of that, audio is one of the stronger non-Apple categories. The Klipsch Reference Dolby Atmos Surround System stands out with around 89% five-star reviews.
