Fast-food rewards programs have become a heated topic online lately, mostly because it seems like they’ve all gone downhill. Between apps requiring a calculator to understand the points system and rewards that never seem to lead to actual free food, Redditors have been airing out their frustrations across Reddit threads dedicated to which programs still feel worth using.
But among the increasingly frustrating world of fast-food loyalty apps, these five chains still seems to have one of the few programs customers genuinely don’t mind using.
Jersey Mike’s

One fast-food rewards program Redditors still seem happy with is Jersey Mike’s loyalty program.
The sandwich chain’s rewards system, called MyMike’s, centers around its Shore Points program, where customers earn points based on what they order. A regular sub earns six points, a giant earns 12, and once members hit 72 points, they can redeem the points for a free regular sub.
Customers praise the program because the rewards don’t expire, which is becoming increasingly rare in fast food. Members can earn points through the app, online, or by using their phone number in-store, and some locations even offer double-points days to speed things up. Birthday rewards are another major perk, with members typically receiving enough bonus points for a free regular sub.
Another thing fans especially love is Jersey Mike’s annual NFL Predictor contest tied into the MyMike’s app. During football season, members can predict NFL game winners every week to earn extra Shore Points, discounts, and even free food rewards.
“I’ve been getting so many points predicting NHL games in the app the last couple of months. I can get like five sandwiches for free now,” said one Redditor.
Domino’s

Considering how often fast-food rewards programs get accused of becoming stingier every year, Domino’s still gets a decent amount of love from customers.
The pizza chain revamped its Domino’s Rewards program in 2023, making it easier for members to redeem points without having to endlessly save up for one reward. Customers earn 10 points on every qualifying $5 order, with rewards starting at just 20 points for smaller freebies like Parmesan Bread Bites, dipping cups, or drinks. At 60 points, members can cash in for bigger items like a medium two-topping pizza, pasta, sandwiches, or lava cakes.
“Just want to acknowledge that Domino’s is the ONLY RESTAURANT that actually upvalued their rewards program in the past 5 years,” said one user on Reddit.
“The newly added rewards options are pretty good, and I’m glad they kept the 60 point pizza option this whole time too,” added another.
Del Taco

Among Redditors debating the least disappointing fast-food rewards programs, Del Taco’s Del Yeah! Rewards comes up often — especially when compared to its longtime rival, Taco Bell.
The app-based loyalty program lets customers earn points on every purchase, with members collecting anywhere between 8 and 12 points per dollar spent depending on their rewards tier. New users also get an immediate sign-up perk — usually two free Del Tacos — which fans repeatedly point out is already more generous than what many chains offer after demanding your email, phone number, blood type, and firstborn child.
The program has multiple tiers based on annual spending, ranging from the entry-level Queso tier to the top Epic tier, where members earn the highest number of points per dollar. Rewards can be redeemed starting at around 100 points for free tacos, fries, drinks, and other menu items. Customers also get birthday rewards, exclusive app deals, digital punch cards for certain promotions, and another perk Redditors seem irrationally excited about: free brewed coffee with any purchase before 11 a.m.
“If I lived near a Del Taco, I wouldn’t need any other apps. You could probably live off the Del Taco deals for like $60/month,” pointed out one customer on Reddit.
Subway

For a chain that Reddit loves to hate almost as much as it loves to eat at, Subway gets a decent amount of praise for its MVP Rewards program. Formerly known as Subway MyWay Rewards, the loyalty system lets customers earn points on purchases that eventually convert into Subway Cash, which can then be used toward free food and discounts. Generally, members earn around 10 points per dollar spent, with higher spending unlocking elevated tiers like Pro, Captain, and All-Star that earn points faster.
The program also includes birthday perks, bonus-point promotions, app-exclusive deals, and personalized offers.
“Subway has BOGO foot longs. Total for 2 footlongs and a 6 inch came to like $17 with tax. Not too bad. The only problem is you have to eat Subway,” added one user.
Arby’s

Arby’s Rewards operates through the chain’s app and gives members points on qualifying purchases that can later be redeemed for free sandwiches, fries, drinks, and rotating discounts.
Customers love the app, because instead of forcing users to slowly grind toward a distant reward, Arby’s regularly fills the app with bonus-point promotions, personalized offers, and limited-time deals that make frequent users feel like they’re consistently saving money.
The program also benefits from the fact that Arby’s menu prices tend to run slightly higher than traditional fast-food burger chains, meaning rewards and discounts feel more noticeable when redeemed. Members can earn points through app orders, online purchases, or participating locations, with rewards automatically tracked digitally inside the app.
“Arby’s has been pretty good with BOGO sandwich weekends and random other days,” said one user on Reddit.
