Buc-ee’s is at it again — adding not one, but two new travel centers to its growing empire of gas pumps, jerky walls, and spotless bathrooms. 

The latest additions land in Virginia and Georgia, giving more road-trippers a chance to stop for Beaver Nuggets and brisket sandwiches.

Where Are the New Buc-ee’s Stores Opening?

The first-ever Buc-ee’s in Virginia opened on June 30 in Mount Crawford, just off I-81 at Exit 240. It’s a major milestone for the brand as it pushes further up the East Coast. Then, on July 1, Georgia got its third Buc-ee’s, this one in Brunswick, located near I-95 and State Highway 99.

These two new stores bring the total to 51 Buc-ee’s locations across 11 states. Here’s the current store count by state:

  • Texas – 36
  • Alabama – 4
  • Georgia – 3
  • Florida – 2
  • Kentucky – 2
  • Tennessee – 2
  • Missouri – 1
  • Colorado – 1
  • South Carolina – 1
  • Mississippi – 1
  • Virginia – 1 (just added)

What States Are Getting Buc-ee’s Next?

Stores are already in the works for North Carolina, Ohio, Arizona, Arkansas, and Wisconsin. The North Carolina store in Mebane is expected in late 2026 or early 2027. Ohio’s Huber Heights location is eyeing spring 2026. Arizona’s Goodyear store is expected to open around June 2026, and construction is underway in Benton, Arkansas.

According to USA TODAY, the Virginia Buc-ee’s — located at 6500 Buc-ee’s Boulevard in Mount Crawford — spans nearly 75,000 square feet and officially opened its doors on June 30. It’s perched just off I-81, making it a convenient pit stop (especially for one of those famed Buc-ee’s brisket sandwiches) about an hour northwest of Charlottesville and roughly two hours from both Richmond and D.C.

The Georgia store, opening July 1 in Brunswick, is at 6900 Highway 99 near Interstate 95, about midway between Savannah and Jacksonville, Florida.
