Beverage chains, serving everything from dirty sodas to coffee, are exploding in popularity. Chick-fil-A has decided to join the trend and is opening a new restaurant that focuses exclusively on drinks. It’s called Daybright — a cheery name — and Chick-fil-A is probably hoping it takes off. Here are all the details about the new Chick-fil-A Daybright experiment.
What Is Daybright?

Daybright is a new drink-focused restaurant operated by Red Wagon Ventures, a subsidiary of Chick-fil-A. We don’t have a lot of details from the company yet, but it’s safe to say it’ll be a little bit like McDonald’s standalone drink restaurant CosMc’s (which closed for good earlier this year) or Taco Bell’s Live Mas Cafe. Both are drink-centric locations operated by the big fast-food chains.
What’s on Daybright’s Menu?

Daybright will serve beverages first and foremost, including hot and cold coffee, cold-pressed juices, and smoothies, according to Restaurant Business Online. There will also be some food, and although we don’t know exactly what it will be yet, we’re guessing it won’t stray far from coffee shop snacks.
The one glaring omission from Daybright’s menu? Chick-fil-A chicken sandwiches. The company is making it very clear that it will not be serving the Chick-fil-A menu. They’re definitely different restaurants.
Where Is Daybright Opening?

Right now, there are only plans for one Daybright location. It’ll open in Hiram, Georgia, a small suburb of Atlanta. It’s being built on the site of a Chick-fil-A that was recently remodeled, according to QSR Magazine.
Though we don’t have a definite grand opening date yet, the company says it will open sometime this fall.
Will Chick-fil-A Open More Daybright Locations?

Until we see how popular Daybright is, it’s impossible to say. If you’re feeling left out because you don’t live anywhere near Georgia, we feel you. We’re also envisioning Sunjoy with a variety of flavored syrups…
Will Chick-fil-A Locations Carry Daybright Drinks?

If Daybright becomes popular, it wouldn’t be a huge stretch to assume that Chick-fil-A could start carrying some Daybright drinks. However, the new restaurant appears to be a completely separate concept from Chick-fil-A, so the company may not want any crossover — or to mess with an already successful concept that consistently has drive-thru lines to the street.
