Chick-fil-A, famous for its fried chicken sandwiches and limited weekend hours, is wading into the latest trend in fast food: specialty beverages. But before you get too excited, that doesn’t mean that more drink options are coming to a Chick-fil-A near you. Instead, the company is trying out a new restaurant concept altogether — with no fried chicken in sight. Here’s what to know about Chick-fil-A’s new Daybright menu and what its first customers think of it.

It’s called Daybright, and right now, there’s only one location in Hiram, Georgia. The building used to be a regular Chick-fil-A, but people noticed something different was happening during the remodeling. Sure enough, the company eventually confirmed the news, and Daybright just opened a few days ago.
What’s on the Daybright Menu?
Daybright’s full menu is on its website, and it’s making us thirsty. As promised, it’s mostly drinks, including coffee, juices, and smoothies, but there’s also a small menu of food made up of donuts and simple sandwiches. Here are some standouts and interesting things.

Drinks
- Toasty Coconut cold brew: Sweet and salty coconut blend topped with coconut crunch
- The La-Tea-Da: Whole milk swirled with bright hibiscus tea and topped with edible glitter (talk about Insta-ready!)
- Protein Coffees: Made with high protein milk and cold foam
- Passionfruit Coconut Fizz: Fruit juice blended with sparkling water (the pineapple mango also sounds fabulous)
- Yuzu You: House-made lemonade with yuzu, lemon, lime, and orange
- Citrus Swing: Half Yuzu You, half black tea for an Arnold Palmer twist
- Jam Sesh Smoothie: Raspberry, oats, blueberry, banana, flaxseed, with coconut milk and orange juice, swirled with coconut cream
- Rabbit Trail Juice: Carrot, mango, lemon, turmeric

Food
- Oven-baked Donuts: honey almond, white raspberry, lemon poppyseed
- Chocolate Pull Apart: chocolate brioche baked with vanilla custard and chocolate chips
- Whipped Peanut Butter and Raspberries Pocketfull: toasted, stuffed English muffin
- Daily Press Burrito: chorizo, egg, and cheddar with house-made sauce pressed in a flour tortilla
What Are People Saying?
We would totally check out Daybright if we were nearby, but we’re not. So instead we’re living vicariously through what people are posting about their visit on social media (is that not the modern way to do everything?!).
One Tiktoker, shahara__k, loved the pistachio latte, and appreciated that the coconut cold brew wasn’t too sweet. Both the chicken salad Pocketfull and the chorizo burrito were “super solid offerings.” Overall, “it did not disappoint! While the offerings may have been different- Daybright still gave that [5 star] Chick-Fil-A customer experience we’ve all come to know and love.”
“This might be my new favorite place in the morning,” said 1.o6am in a TikTok she made during her visit to the Daybright drive-thru. She loved the donuts, which the employee told her contained 6 grams of protein and were made there every morning. “It doesn’t have that over sugary, over sweet artificial taste.”
Will Daybright survive, unlike McDonald’s standalone foray into the beverage world, CosMcs? We’ll see. But for now, sahara__k is warning that global coffee shop with the green logo (you know the one) that “you in danger girl.”
