Costco members love everything about the store, from the massive key lime pies to the $1.50 hot dog combos in the food court. And for some members, things are going to get a little better thanks to a couple new perks of membership to the warehouse club. Not every member will get them, though. Here’s what’s new, and who qualifies.

There are two new perks of having a Costco membership, according to USA Today. The first is extended shopping hours, where certain members can get into the store early — and probably have shorter lines and fewer people clogging up the aisles.

The second new perk is even better. Some members will get a monthly $10 credit for same-day delivery orders. So if you shop at Costco regularly and have your order delivered, that may be a pretty great benefit.

The early shopping hours for those that qualify for this perk will be 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Sunday through Friday, and 9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Sundays. Normally, Costco opens at 10 a.m. Sunday through Friday, and 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.

Costco also announced that it will be open until 7 p.m. on Saturdays for all customers. Previously, it closed at 6 p.m. on Saturdays.

Some Costco members will get a monthly $10 credit for same day delivery orders. In order to use it, you’ll have to place an order of $150 or more through sameday.costco.com or Costco via Instacart. According to a press release, the credit will be automatically applied to qualifying orders, and can be used once per month.

Of course there’s a catch. Only Costco executive members will get these new perks. That’s the highest level of membership, which means it’s more expensive than gold star membership, the lower tier. An executive membership currently costs $130 per year, but if you plan to use the $10 same day order credit each month, it’ll almost pay for itself over the course of a year.

Don’t head to a Costco at 9 a.m. just yet, executive members, because the new perks don’t go into effect until June 30, 2025.
