Krispy Kreme is appealing to both doughnut lovers and creative culinary enthusiasts with its latest job opportunity. The chain is searching for a “Chief Doughnut Dreamer” to join the innovation team at its headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina. Sounds pretty — dare we say it — dreamy, doesn’t it?

The main job responsibility is to create the next great flavor for one of the biggest doughnut chains in the nation. But pump the breaks before you go submit your two weeks’ notice and put all your doughnut holes in Krispy Kreme’s basket. It’s not exactly a job with benefits and a salary you can pay your bills with.

Instead, Krispy Kreme intends to compensate its Chief Doughnut Dreamer with a year’s worth of free doughnuts. So, you’ll not only not be able to make ends meet in terms of a paycheck — you also might find yourself struggling to make the ends of your belt meet when the year is said and done. Still, free doughnuts are a pretty terrific perk, especially from an established icon like Krispy Kreme.

The doughnut giant isn’t the only business to offer mouthwatering, off-the-wall job opportunities, either. If you search in the right places, you just might land yourself a job as a Chief Pizza Officer or even a Chief Candy Officer. Fingers crossed at least one of those jobs comes with a dental plan.

How to Apply for Krispy Kreme’s Chief Doughnut Dreamer Job

1. First, make a video sharing your dream flavor idea while also showing off your affinity for Krispy Kreme.

2. Post your video to Instagram or Twitter with #ChiefDoughnutDreamer and #Contest.

The winner will be the doughnut fanatic who wows Krispy Kreme the most with their creative, quality, and passionate recipe idea.

But don’t wait too long to cook up a winning recipe — the contest ends on June 18.
