The busy holiday travel season is here, and with it come all the winter weather delays and cancellations you never wanted. You’re inevitably going to get stuck at an airport at some point in your life, and you may have to spend a lot of money when you do. You’re going to get hungry, you may need to pay for extra parking, and heck, you may even treat yourself to a drink because you deserve it on an unplanned 14-hour layover. And if you’re stuck at one of the most expensive airports, you’re really going to pay for it.

When it comes to those surprise travel expenses, some airports are cheaper than others, according to a new report from Casino.ca. They gathered current data from top airports across North America to determine which would be the most and least expensive to be stranded at, based on the average price of airport parking, one night in a nearby hotel, and one beer at the airport. Based on that data, here are the 10 most expensive and 10 least expensive North American airports to be stuck in.
