By the time February comes, most of us are done with winter — even if winter isn’t done with us. Luckily, Trader Joe’s is adding new items to its shelves, helping to break up the stretch between now and spring.

The best thing about it? TJ’s products tend to be incredibly affordable. Here are 10 new things coming to your local Trader Joe’s this month.

Mini Dark Chocolate Biscuit Cookies

The 6-ounce bag of Dark Chocolate Biscuit Cookies comes with postage-sized, wheat-flour rectangles formed from a biscuit base and coated on one side with a layer of dark chocolate. First impressions are promising, with shoppers applauding the balance of the sweet treat.

“I don’t usually like dark chocolate, but I enjoy these. The biscuit balances the bitter,” reads one comment on Reddit.

If you’re intrigued, you might want to know these babies are flying off the shelves. “Yesterday I saw a woman RUN to get the last bag of these,” said one Redditor. “She snatched them off the shelf.”

Chicken Sausage Ravioli

$4.49

You don’t need to be a TJ’s expert to understand that once the grocer finds what works with shoppers, it follows that pattern until it stops working. Ravioli is an all-time TJ’s favorite, and so is chicken sausage — so why not mix the two? The 9-ounce bag comes at a solid price of $4.49. Given that it has two modest servings, it works out to about $2.25 per person, and that’s hard to beat. The ravioli are filled with a mix of chicken sausage and a blend of ricotta, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheeses, and cook in 3 to 4 minutes in boiling water.

Taste-wise, customers say they’re solid: “Found them really flavorful and well seasoned,” shared one shopper on Reddit. “We tossed them in a bit of sour cream and added black pepper.”

Soft Pretzel Stick

Soft pretzels are about as game-day as game-day food gets, and TJ’s timed its new Soft Pretzel Stick well. (Bonus: It’s only 99 cents for a 3-ounce stick.) The new addition to the TJ’s bakery isn’t twisted but shaped more like a short baguette, with a pillowy interior and a dark, pretzel-y crust. Shoppers say it’s good on its own, but heavenly when dunked in queso, paired with pub cheese, or split and turned into a sandwich.

“Just had one yesterday. GASSSSSS,” said one shopper.

Smoked Steelhead Trout

New to Trader Joe’s shelves, the Smoked Steelhead Trout looks and tastes a lot like Atlantic salmon, but it’s technically a different fish. It comes in a 4-ounce vacuum-sealed package priced at $5.49 — which is a solid deal — and is sliced thicker than your average lox.

“It’s fantastic! Not super fatty but more of a firm texture and the taste is delicious,” said one shopper, adding, “although if you blindfolded me I probably couldn’t tell the difference between this and lox.”

Spicy Alfredo Fusilloni Pasta

Trader Joe’s decided to see what happens when Italian comfort food runs headfirst into Korean spice. New to the frozen aisle, Spicy Alfredo Fusilloni Pasta pairs giant fusilloni with a creamy Alfredo sauce spiked with gochujang. The sauce comes frozen in little chunks that melt down as the pasta heats.

“Reaaaaal good, 8.5/10… spicy, cheesy, and I love the big spiral noodle texture,” shared one Redditor.

“This was delicious. This might be my new go-to TJ’s pasta, especially since it’s 850 calories for the whole bag,”added another.

Dill-icious Cream Cheese Spread

The only reason shoppers and TJ’s fans forgive the grocer’s sometimes-cringe product names — like Dill•icious Cream Cheese Spread — is because it tastes good and it’s cheap for what you get. The newest cream cheese spread from Trader Joe’s includes … prepare to be shocked … dill.

The limited time herby and cheese spread simply begs for a warm bagel and maybe a slice of that Smoked Steelhead Trout.

“Eating it [right now],” shared one shopper. “Can confirm it’s absolutely delicious.”

Jubilant Sprinkle Cookies

$3.99

Trader Joe’s new Jubilant Sprinkle Cookies might be small and short, like February itself, but we know for sure they’re sweeter. The 10-ounce bag comes with colorful butter cookies with sprinkles baked straight in. They’ll come in handy as add-ins for birthday cakes or brownies, or just as a quick coffee-break pick-me-up.

“They’re amazing,” said one satisfied shopper. “They remind me of the vanilla cake Goldfish, but better.”

“They are delicious! I may eat the whole bag in one day,” added another.

By now, Trader Joe’s just has to say cheese and we’re all sold, given its immense success with specialty cheeses. The newest addition, Hot Honey Goat Milk Cheese, combines pasteurized goat milk cheese, honey, red pepper flakes, and habanero pepper powder. Available for a limited time through March, the ridiculously fairly priced cheese works as a bougie addition to your charcuterie board.

Stuffed Peppers

Trader Joe’s newest addition to the frozen aisle is priced like an app but filling enough for a main. At $6.99 for a 15-ounce package, the Stuffed Peppers come with red bell pepper halves filled with ground beef, long-grain and wild rice, and vegetables like spinach, celery, carrots, and shiitake mushrooms.

BBQ Pork Fried Rice

$4.49

Trader Joe’s fried rice is a tried-and-true staple for easy, cheap dinners, and the grocer’s has a new competitor in the frozen aisle: BBQ Pork Fried Rice.

The 16-ounce bag comes with chunks of char siu–style pork mixed throughout the rice, plus vegetables like green onions, corn, peas, red bell peppers, and carrots.

“Just tried this for lunch” shared one shopper on Reddit. “This is my new go-to. The pork is uniform unlike the chicken version, where I have to cook it much more than needed to get the chicken chunks hot. Add in some Laoganma chili oil and this is perfect. 100% would buy again.”
