Popeyes is giving everyone a gift this holiday season: a free chicken sandwich.
From now through Jan. 1, you can grab one of the chain’s famous crispy fried chicken sandwiches for free. The deal is the same one that Popeyes featured during Black Friday weekend, but this time the promotion lasts longer.

But of course, there’s a catch. You have to buy a chicken sandwich combo to get a sandwich for free. So you’ll need to either team up with a friend, stash one in your fridge for later, or just be really, really hungry.

You can snag a free sandwich — any of them on offer, including the new blackened version — through New Year’s Day by ordering a chicken sandwich combo for pickup or delivery through Popeyes’ website or app and then adding another sandwich to your order.
