The popularity of fast food chicken is undeniable, which is why fried chicken chains have been opening more locations while other restaurants are closing locations left and right. The latest news? In case you’re not familiar, Raising Cane’s is a fast food chicken restaurant that started in Louisiana in 1996. It has a small menu, allowing it to focus on quality and consistency (it’s one of a few fast-food chains that never uses a microwave). It serves only chicken fingers, fries, Texas toast, coleslaw, and its creamy signature dipping sauce. Cane’s has over 800 locations in 42 states after opening a record 118 new locations in 2024.

Well, people LOVE chicken fingers. When a new Raising Cane’s opens, especially in an area of the country where there aren’t other locations yet, people line up by the hundreds to be some of the first people to taste the chicken fingers. It’s pretty clear from those consistent turnouts that customers want more fried chicken.
