Tiny houses aren’t just for people on HGTV who want to declutter their lives but don’t understand why a bathroom in a shipping container doesn’t have a tub. They are, ostensibly, for those who want to spend less to own a home but don’t necessarily like the idea of putting down roots. We’ve found tiny houses for sale in every corner of the country — some that can be had for less than the average cost of a new car and a little elbow grease, on up to luxury models that cost nearly as much as a standard-size home.
