Now you can add Trader Joe’s to the list of expansions. It’s opening 21 new locations across the country, according to USA Today and the chain’s store locator. Here’s everything we know about the new TJ’s locations — see if any will be near you.
Why Is Trader Joe’s Opening More Stores?
In short: people love Trader Joe’s. It tops the list of favorite grocery stores in customer surveys all the time, and there’s a cult-like following for a lot of its products, including frozen Mandarin Orange Chicken, Joe-Joe’s cookies, and even body butter. It tends to be a pretty good value, which probably contributes to the popularity of the brand and why it’s expanding beyond the 581 locations it currently has.
When Will the New Trader Joe’s Locations Open?
Unfortunately, we don’t know when any of the 21 new Trader Joe’s stores will open yet. The store locator on Trader Joe’s website just lists these locations as “opening soon”.
