The NFL playoffs have started, and the road to the Super Bowl brings with it plenty of game day parties. If you’re hosting any football watching shindigs this year, the enormous cost of groceries is probably a worry, especially considering the ubiquitous snacks often served have some of the highest prices.

To make hosting a game day party easier on the wallet (and brain), Walmart has put together a bundle of typical snacks and finger foods in one package for a decent price. Here’s what the store is offering.

What Do You Get in the Game Day Spread?

There are 13 items in Walmart’s game day bundle, including food and beverage. Some are items like chips that you can eat without any prep, but most items will take a minimal amount of cooking to serve. Here’s the full list:

  • Rotel Original Diced Tomatoes and Green Chilies
  • Velveeta Original melting cheese
  • Tostitos Scoops! party size tortilla chips
  • Bettergoods Roasted Sweet Corn Salsa
  • Doritos Nacho Cheese chips
  • Great Value frozen Fully Cooked Homestyle Meatballs
  • Bettergoods Traditional Competition Style BBQ Sauce
  • Hillshire Farm Lit’l Smokies Smoked Sausage
  • Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
  • Great Value frozen chicken wing sections, 4 pounds
  • Frank’s RedHot Buffalo Wings hot sauce
  • Two Pepsi 2-liter bottles

How Much Does It Cost?

The exact price of the package will vary by location, but it is designed to feed 8 people, and it should cost around $8 per person. At a Walmart location in a Midwestern city, the total came to $68.34, making it $8.54 per person. But keep in mind that if you watch for sales, especially on items like the Pepsi, it’ll bring the cost down significantly from the $4.16(!) regular price.

What Can I Make With It?

You can mix the Rotel and Velveeta for a popular dip with the tortilla chips. The frozen meatballs can be cooked in the barbecue sauce, and the Lit’l Smokies can be wrapped in Crescent Roll dough and baked for pigs in a blanket. And once you bake or fry the chicken wings, toss them in the Buffalo sauce. Along with salsa, Doritos, and soda, it makes for a decent party spread.

How Do I Order It?

Walmart has a game day spread page where you can add all the items in the package to your cart at your local store. Then just choose pick up or delivery and pay. The bundle will be available to order through Feb. 9, 2025, which is the date of the Super Bowl this year.

Can I Add Anything to It?

Yep! Since the items don’t come packaged together, you can add whatever you like to your order — or for that matter, subtract items that you might not like. If you prefer a different brand of salsa, switch it out, but keep in mind that the price will change as well. Ranch dressing and celery to go with the wings sounds good. And don’t forget the alcohol if you plan on imbibing during the game.
