Just when winter starts feeling like it’s dragging on forever, Trader Joe’s drops a fresh batch of new items onto its ever-expanding shelves to shake things up, from spicy freezer finds to sugar-loaded distractions that make the gray days a little less dull.
Here are nine new items you can find on Trader Joe’s shelves around the country.
Thai Style Yellow Curry Flavored Potato Chips

Joe’s is updating its snack aisle with a brand-new chip, and this one’s a Thai-style, curry-flavored situation. The 6-ounce bag costs $2.99 — which is a steal considering how expensive name-brand chips have gotten — and has a mild chili pepper heat, lime tang, and a hint of brown sugar, garlic, onion, and other spices. It’s been only seconds on Trader Joe’s shelves and there are already mixed reviews, with some thoroughly enjoying the exotic snack and others saying it’s kind of meh.
“I had them, they’re very good. Heavy curry spice notes, especially tumeric, present on the chips and slightly kind of fish saucey savoriness,” said a Redditor who tried the new TJ’s snack.
“They’re okay. A little bit of heat. Not as strongly flavored as I would have expected,” said another.
Sweet Onion Style Pretzel Twists

Another new snack by TJ’s is less hot and exotic but equally crunchy and flavorful. The Sweet Onion Style Pretzel Twists come in a 12-ounce bag priced at $3.69, and includes twisted, crisp pretzels coated in sweet onion–style seasoning. Reviews are still trickling in, but in a discussion about the new chips, one shopper said they preferred the pretzels over the curry-flavored snack, writing, “The new onion pretzels are better in my book.”
Spicy Spuds

There’s a novelty in the freezer aisle as well, and this one is all about heat. The 20-ounce bag of Spicy Spuds costs $4.49 and comes packed with bite-size potato chunks that are already par-fried, so they crisp up quickly whether you toss them in the oven or the air fryer. They’re coated in a punchy mix that includes cayenne, smoked paprika, lime juice, Parmesan, garlic, and other warm spices, giving them a smoky, zesty kick with noticeable but manageable heat.
Toasted Coconut Mini Sheet Cake

Every time Trader Joe’s releases a new mini sheet cake, people start side-eyeing both their diets and their budgets, because if you know, you know — restraint is basically impossible here. The limited-time Toasted Coconut Mini Sheet Cake goes for $5.99, which, for 18 ounces of bakery-aisle temptation, is dangerously reasonable. It features a coconut milk–based cake studded with toasted coconut flakes and topped with cream cheese frosting and more toasted coconut.
“Coconut and cream cheese frosting?? Joe really wants our backs to stay big and he doesn’t care that summer is around the corner!” said one shopper on Reddit.
Dark Chocolate Covered Crunchy Corn Kernels

Joe’s Dark Chocolate Covered Crunchy Corn Kernels are probably Corn Nuts in a tuxedo. The 8-ounce bag costs $3.99 and includes roasted, lightly salted corn kernels with a thick coating of dark chocolate made with cocoa butter and soy lecithin.

Blonde Bar

You might still be recovering from the winter holidays, but Trader Joe’s insists you keep indulging with the release of its newest sweet treat, the Blonde Bar, priced at $2.69.
Made by a third-generation Italian bean-to-bar chocolatier, the 2.64-ounce bar starts with a white chocolate base flavored with lightly salted caramel for that signature golden hue, then mixes in crumbled sugar cookie pieces for extra crunch.
“It’s so good! It’s made in Italy. If you like white chocolate, I think a lot of people will like it. The crunchy pieces are small but still nice crunch,” shared one Redditor.
Chopped Salad Blend

To balance out all the sweets and chips, Trader Joe’s has a new pre-packaged Chopped Salad Blend, a $2.99 9-ounce bag that’s ready to dump straight into a bowl. The mix includes escarole, endive, red cabbage, radicchio, and carrots, all finely chopped.
Vanilla Cold Brew Coffee Concentrate

Trader Joe’s new Vanilla Cold Brew Coffee Concentrate is $8.99 for a 32-fluid-ounce bottle. It starts with a medium-roast, 100% Arabica base infused with natural vanilla flavor before brewing. It’s steeped cold for 12 hours, which keeps the profile smoother and less acidic than traditional hot-brewed coffee.
You mix one part concentrate with two parts water, milk, or a milk alternative, which means each bottle makes at least eight 12-ounce drinks.
“We’ve had it in the break room all week for the crew to enjoy. It’s lovely!!!,” admitted a crew member on Reddit.
“Just opened mine and it’s delicious!” a shopper agreed.

Butter Caramel Hard Candies

Trader Joe’s is also tapping into the classic candy lane with its Butter Caramel Hard Candies, the kind of old-school sweet that feels straight out of a grandma’s candy dish. The 8.11-ounce bag costs $2.79 and includes individually wrapped pieces made in small batches using the traditional hard-boiling method.
“Just got some! Very tasty little treats,” said one shopper.
“Grandmas are on their way…” joked another.
