Costco sells almost anything you can imagine, from fruit snacks to gold bars. That means, though, that there’s bound to be safety recalls on the big box store’s products from time to time.
Thankfully, Costco keeps a running list of all recalls for items it sells. We’ve gone through and rounded up some of the most recent alerts over the last couple of months so you can check your pantry, garage, and closets for any recalled items. Here’s the list of Costco recall products, with links to more information.
EcoFlow DELTA Max Power Station
EcoFlow Delta Max power stations that are meant to power your home during power outages or your RV have been recalled due to overheating, which poses a fire hazard. This is a repair recall that only requires a software update to fix.
Foster Farms Corndogs
Foster Farms Honey Crunchy Jumbo Corndogs were recalled because of the potential for pieces of the wooden stick to be embedded in the corndog coating. The frozen corndogs can be returned to your Costco for a full refund.
Jimmy Dean Pancakes and Sausage on a Stick
Similarly to the Foster Farms corndogs, packages of Jimmy Dean Pancakes and Sausage on a Stick were recalled because they may contain bits of wood in the coating.
Oster Countertop Ovens
Oster French Door Countertop Ovens were recalled because the doors can unexpectedly close when you’re reaching into the hot oven, causing burns. They were sold at Costco between 2018 and 2023. After verifying your oven is part of the recall, you can get a free repair kit from Oster or return it to your local Costco for a refund.
Ahi Poke Prepared Meal
One of Costco’s popular ready-to-eat meals, Ahi Wasabi Poke, was recalled because it may have been contaminated with listeria. It was a fresh product so it’s unlikely you have any in your fridge, but it’s possible some people have frozen the recalled meal.
Kirkland Signature Prosecco
Kirkland Signature Prosecco Valdobbiadene, an Italian sparkling wine, was recalled because the glass bottles may spontaneously shatter, even when not in use. Anyone who has the recalled bottle should wrap it in paper towels, place it in a plastic bag, and dispose of it instead of bringing it back to a Costco store.
Dubai Style Chocolate
Rolling Pin brand bags of Dubai Style Chocolate were recalled because of an incorrect allergen statement on the package. It lists “gluten” as the allergen, rather than “wheat”. If there is anyone in your household with wheat allergies, you can return the item to Costco for a refund.
Pura Fragrance Diffuser
Pura 4 diffusers were recently recalled because the cover attaches with small magnets that can detach over time and pose a choking hazard to children and pets. You can request a replacement cover without the magnets from the company.
Above Ground Pools
Though pool season is over, you may have one of five million recalled above ground pools stored away for next year. The compression straps around the pools allow children to climb into the pool, which has unfortunately led to five drownings. Pools included in the recall sold at Costco include a number of Intex and Bestway models.
