In a fast-food world where “deals” usually come with a long list of conditions, Chick-fil-A is doing something refreshingly simple: giving away free chicken biscuits without a catch. It’s something that the famous fried chicken chain does occasionally, perhaps to make up for the fact that they don’t really have cheap meal deals and value menus like the other big chains. But it doesn’t really matter why Chick-fil-A does it — we’re just grateful it’s happening, because who couldn’t use a free sandwich right now?!

What’s the Chick-fil-A Deal?

Chick-fil-A is commemorating its 80th anniversary (they don’t look a day past 47) with a year-long celebration. So far there’s been retro collectible cups with a chance to win chicken sandwiches for a year, as well as a delicious new test sandwich. Honestly, it hasn’t been very exciting yet, but to be fair we only really get excited about free food.

Cue: free food! On Tuesday, the chain dropped a new reward for free Chick-fil-A chicken biscuit breakfast sandwiches. Unlike most of the chain’s freebies that are determined by individual franchisee owners, this one comes from the very top so it’s available nationwide. Praise the fried chicken gods.

“We love finding ways to surprise and delight our guests,” said Khalilah Cooper, vice president of brand strategy, advertising, and media, in a statement. “What better way to celebrate than by giving a breakfast classic to our Chick-fil-A One Members?” We couldn’t agree more, sir.

How Do I Get It?

Thankfully, the only hoop — we wouldn’t quite call it a catch — is that you have to order through Chick-fil-A’s mobile app and have a rewards account to get it. But honestly, if you’ve ever ordered from the chain in the past, you probably already have the app anyway. As annoying as it is, it’s WAY better than having to purchase something else in order to get your “free” sandwich. (We’re looking at you, every other chain restaurant.)

If you already have an account on the app, just open it and go to the Rewards tab. Choose My Rewards at the top, and it should show up there automatically. If you don’t have the app and an account already, just download it and create an account, and you’ll still get the reward. To redeem it, just click Redeem Reward at the bottom and add it to an order at your local Chick-fil-A. You’ll have to use it before February 28, 2026.

“This has to be from Corporate, because my local never gives anything out for free,” said one Chick-fil-A customer in a Reddit thread about the deal. “But woo hoo! I’m excited to finally get something in my rewards other than dust and cobwebs!”

“I’ve never bought anything from Chick-fil-A,” responded another. “I just go there when they give me free food.” That’s some serious will power goals.
