Craving some queso and chips? Good news: Qdoba is giving them away for free. The only catch is that you’ll have to wait for a full moon.
What Is Qdoba Offering?
Qdoba has announced its latest offering, and you’d better get a copy of the lunar calendar. The fast casual restaurant will give away a free 4-ounce serving of its queso, along with tortilla chips, for every full moon in 2026.

“We’re over the moon about this fun, new offer that fans can look forward to each month,” said Jon Burke, Chief Marketing Officer at QDOBA. “The moon may not really be made of cheese, but we think a free side of our creamy, cheesy queso and tortilla chips – seasoned with salt and lime – is the next best thing. Every time you look up at the full moon, count on free queso and chips waiting for you at QDOBA!”
Who Can Redeem the Offer … and Is There a Catch?
This celestial offer applies to Qdoba Rewards members only, either logged into a Rewards account for online or mobile app orders, or by scanning the Rewards QR code at checkout for in-restaurant orders.
On the day of the full moon, with the purchase of any full-size entrée, members will receive a free 4-ounce serving of either Qdoba’s Signature 3-Cheese Queso or Queso Diablo, along with tortilla chips.
So yes, it turns out the full moon isn’t the only catch when it comes to scoring free queso.
