Next to burgers, fried chicken has got to be the most popular fast-food meal. Restaurant chains like Chick-fil-A and Dave’s Hot Chicken always seem to be busy as people gobble up fried chicken in all of its glorious forms.

One fried chicken chain, Raising Cane’s, is popular enough right now that it’s opening up new locations almost every month — and August is no exception.

Here’s everything we know about Raising Cane’s latest expansion.

What Is Raising Cane’s?

In case you’re not familiar, Raising Cane’s is a Southern fried chicken tender chain that started in Louisiana in 1996. It offers a concise menu featuring chicken fingers, fries, Texas toast, slaw, and its signature creamy chicken dipping sauce.

Notably, it’s one of the few fast-food chains that never uses a microwave. There are over 800 locations in 42 states.

Well, people LOVE chicken fingers, from toddlers to adults. Whenever a new Raising Cane’s opens, especially when it’s the first one in an area, people line up for hours to try it.

Clearly, people just want more fried chicken, and Cane’s is happy to help with that craving.
