If you’re a fan of Wendy’s delectable Frostys, you’re in luck. The fast-food giant has brought back its Frosty Key Tag program, which entitles holders to free Frostys, plus a charitable opportunity.

Starting Nov. 20th, you can buy a Frosty-shaped key chain at Wendy’s for only $3 and receive daily complimentary Jr. Frostys at participating locations through the end of 2024, the fast-food chain recently announced. The offer, which is available until Feb. 14th, allows plenty of time for customers to snag their key chains from Wendy’s and take advantage of the deal.

The initiative isn’t just about satisfying sweet cravings; it’s a gesture of giving back. Named the “Frosty it Forward” program, a portion from each Frosty Key Tag sale benefits the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption — an organization dedicated to finding “safe, permanent, and loving homes” for children in the foster care system.

How Do I Get the Key Chain?

Customers can choose between a physical or digital version of the Frosty Key Tag. To purchase, you can either add the tag while ordering in-store or through the Wendy’s app, or you can also buy them directly through the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption’s website.

Redeeming your year’s worth of free Jr. Frosty is easy. If you have a physical tag, all you have to do is present it when ordering in person or at the drive-thru. For digital tag holders, apply it to online orders or scan it in the restaurant.

Currently, Wendy’s menu features its usual vanilla and chocolate Frostys. But the deal will also include a peppermint Frosty for a limited time at select stores. The peppermint drink, which was first introduced last November to mixed reactions, marked Wendy’s first foray into holiday-themed flavors.

This year, the fast-food chain delighted fans with a variety of Frosty flavors, including pumpkin spice and strawberry. However, the flavors were seasonal and have since been discontinued.
