It looks like Colonel Sanders doesn’t want to be left behind as more fast-food chains introduce budget-friendly meals. KFC is expanding its longtime $10 Tuesday promotion into a new Bucket of the Day lineup, turning a once-a-week deal into a weekday routine, the chain announced in a press release. Now you can pick up a $10 chicken option every day from Monday through Friday, with the menu changing daily.
“Figuring out what’s for dinner is something everyone deals with,” said Melissa Cash, KFC Chief Marketing Officer. “We took what our fans love about $10 Tuesday and expanded it into something bigger — a weekday experience with more options at the same $10 price — so you can switch things up without spending more.”
How Does KFC’s Bucket Of The Day Work?

The deal follows a set weekday schedule, with a different chicken option each day and nuggets making a repeat appearance to start and end the week:
- Monday: 24-piece nuggets with four sauces
- Tuesday: 8-piece drums and thighs
- Wednesday: 10 wings with two sauces
- Thursday: 8 tenders with four sauces
- Friday: 24-piece nuggets with four sauces
Saucy New Items
And you have to dip that chicken in something, right? Say less. KFC’s got that covered.
The chain introduced two new sauces, Honey Chili Crisp and Jalapeño Ranch. Honey Chili Crisp mixes sweet and heat with a honey base and spice from chili oil and flakes. The bits of chili give it some texture, so it sticks to the chicken instead of running off. It works whether you’re dipping nuggets or pouring it over bone-in chicken.
Jalapeño Ranch keeps the familiar ranch base and adds jalapeño for a mild kick, along with herbs like cilantro for a fresher taste. It’s smoother and helps balance out the richness of fried chicken without overpowering it. Both sauces are included in a new Boneless Bucket for One, which comes with tenders, nuggets, fries and a drink, offering a smaller, all-in-one option built around convenience.
The expanded deal arrives at a time when fast-food chains are putting more emphasis on lower-priced meals, as customers continue to pay closer attention to spending.
